Create a SSH user

To connect to your account in SSH, you need to have a user. By default a user named by the account is generated at the account creation. You can administrate your SSH users from your administration interface.

  • Name : SSH username, prefixed by the account name;
  • Password : user password, required at the first SSH connection (the connection by keys can then be used which allows the deactivation of the connection by password);
  • "Root" directory : directory in which the user arrives at his connection.

Unlike FTP, SSH doesn't allow isolation. The user will be able to freely move in all directories of the account.
